- Do you accept walk-ins or appointments only? Appointments are recommended.
- How long do your makeup applications typically take? Approx 1 hour
- How long does the hair removal last? Realistically, 4-6 weeks but influencing factors like individual hair growth can be faster in some people.
- Does one procedure hurt more than the other? Well, that varies depending on the person’s pain level. Waxing is done more quickly but may cause slight pain after the procedure as with threading, you usually leave the salon with little to no pain. Many professionals offer aloe vera or a calming cream after the procedure to help calm and soothe the skin.
- How do I prepare for a Threading or Waxing service? For either service we recommend that you come in with clean skin and have the new growth of your brows to be about 1⁄8 to 1⁄4 in length. It is highly recommended that you do not self tan before your appointment.
- What are the risks of ingrown hairs? This occurs in some people but we can walk through it if it happens.
- Is waxing safe for my skin type? We have consultations for those with sensitive skin to access your skin suitability and recommend alternative methods if needed.
- How do I prepare for my first waxing appointment? Try avoiding exfoliation and sun exposure.
- What are your sanitation and hygiene practices? We focus on cleanliness protocols and disposable tools to ensure client safety.
- I use products with Retin A in them. Can I still get a waxing service? No. Because creams that contain Retin A are generally used around the eye and lip area, we will not do a waxing service as it will cause burning and severe irritation.
- Do you offer any discounts or packages? Yes, we trust and believe in the products we use in the salon so we run monthly promotions on our take home hair care products so that you can use them too.
